Wah, holidays ovaaa! I Didn’t do anything productive!!! Okay, what I have done;

-Gone to Arma and blew most of my money
-went to a concert to watch a world famous flute performer
-performed at Anzac Day
-Finished most of anime!FMA
-Started a HP!hybrid roleplay with a really talented writer ( yah for good connections! )
-did a few more pages of The Belonda Problem
-took a stab at PoL
-actually finished a few one shot- and got a nice review from the audience I was targeting
-Finished Animal Farm and 1984, got out Coming up for Air and Burmese Days
-downloaded about fifty zillion FMA doujins

What I would have liked to have done

-finish The Belonda Problem
-get to the point in PoL I’ve planned to, then get stuck
-finished all the books I got from the library
-done all my homework on the first day, and not left it LAWL XD

And my modem didn’t burst into flames when I downloaded all those doujins. I did about ten ( seriously )
Has anyone read, Linus? I actually expected a hell of a lot more from it, by the fantastical review it got ( um, it’s an Ed/Al ) I was looking under my mouse for the plot it apparently had. Actually, I hope none of you have read it, because is R-18 –hackcough-
I really liked Scarlet on the Tile thought, very enjoyable. Though all ten were so friggen depressing ugh, had to go off and do something else

For English this year, we’re doing essays on War Poetry and my friend Morgan is doing In Flanders Field. So anyhows, on the last day we had to write an essay ( or try to ) and she had started to write it, and this is pretty much how our conversation went;

Morgan: The Poet sure has a long name

Slinky: What is it?

Morgan: Lieutenant Colonial McCrae, M.D

Slinky: Wow! That is pretty long –flips her own poem to Flander’s Field and reads name- Um, wait. Morgan, it’s L-t-C-o-l.

Morgan: Yeeeah

Slinky: Col. is pronounced Colonel ( Cer-nal )

Morgan: No that can’t be right

Slinky: Morgan, do you even know how to spell, Colonel?

Morgan: C o r-

Slinky: Stooop!

Morgan: Let’s get a dictionary

-one read up later-

Morgan: Well… I feel really really stupid now

Slinky: Lieutenant Colonel… Lieutenant Colonel hn

Morgan: Natasha, you don’t have to rub it in

Slinky: No no. I was just thinking; there’s no such thing as a Lieutenant Colonel. You can’t be a lower rank, and a higher rank at the same time. It’s ridiculous

Morgan: Ohmygosh, your right

-at this point where pretty much pissing our selves laughing-

Slinky: Nah. Look. Let’s use the dictionary again –looks up Lt. – Um, Morgie? How did you say you pronounced Lt.?

Morgan: Lieutenant ( lu- ten-ant )

Slinky: Well it says here that it’s pronounced Lieutenant ( Left-ten-ant ) Holy heck, I’ve been saying it wrong all this time! Do you know whose fault this is? The Americans. They use ‘Lu’ while the British use ‘Left’. And that makes more sense. Left like on the left side of something. And another thing I’ve just thought of. There is a Lt. Col. It’s the rank below Col. It just sounds weird

Morgan: Now I don’t know what to write on my essay

And yeah. One really stupid conversation later I guess. But hey, something good happened this week. Moo and me have started to organise our trip up to Auckland Armageddon in October ( geebus didn’t realise it was that far away >.> )

Naked Bussing down on the Friday. Originally thought of staying with her Step-Bro, but now I’m thinking not. They live half an hour out, and seeing as Auckland traffic is a NIGHTMARE I’m going to suggest a back-packers that’s closer to town.

We have a nice hoard going this time. Me, Moo, Livy, Chantie, Tashie, Rt. Or at least hopefully.

Livy got super excited. Apparently she meet one of the cosplayers at her camp, and I said ‘hey, I think I saw her!’ ( she cosplayed as Axel ) and she asked Livy if she was going to Wellington. So now she wants to come and meet up with her in Auckland as she couldn’t go to Welly. And Chantz knows a professional cosplayer so I’m pretty eager to meet her as well

Yah for good connections!

So I’ve decided to re-use my fabulous black dress and cosplay as Misha ( from Pita Ten ). I brought the extra material today, and the white boots and feathered wings
